“Three Steps to Design Your Blueprint to Turn Your Passions Into Profits”

You too can start and end every day this way when you have a clearly defined destination, a clearly defined roadmap to follow, and effective strategies in place to get you there. With these three simple tools you will be on your way to turning your passions into the profitable business you have always dreamed of.
Step 1: Define EXACTLY the type of business you are creating. Having a clear business vision will help you to determine the focus of your business. In this step define and list the different products, programs, product lines, or services you offer. Decide what percentage of your income you would like to come from each product, program, or service line. This will tell you exactly where and how much time to spend in each area of your business.
Step 2: Design your “Business Blueprint” or “Marketing Funnel”. Just like when you are building a house; when you are building a business you need a blueprint to follow. This is your blueprint of what your business will look like and more specifically the progression of your client relationships as you build trust and credibility with your prospects and clients. Draw an upside down triangle and create different levels for the different price points for your programs, products and services starting from lowest investment to highest investment. Each level represents a different level of relationships and commitment for your client. At the very top of the triangle (the fattest part) are your introductory offers, or free offers. These might include articles on your blog or website, free product samples or product trials, free estimates or quotes, anything that you provide prospects with to introduce them to your business and to start building a relationship with them. If you only have a few products to list, it’s okay, decide what you would like your business to look like a year from now and add those products/services into your blueprint.
Step 3: Identify your Marketing Strategies. Marketing strategies are all about getting the word out and determining how are you going to bring prospects into your funnel. Consistency is the key. Choose strategies that you are willing to commit to doing consistently. There are lots of options to choose from so choose three and start today consistently taking action. Because you are committed to taking these actions consistently, choose strategies that play to your strengths. For example if you absolutely detest cold calling then don’t pick that strategy. If you don’t like it, you won’t do it. You may decide instead to put together a social media strategy and spend time virtually networking rather then cold calling. Again consistency is the key to filling your marketing funnel.
